To get started, follow the steps below. You’ll need 5 minutes of your time and a compatible and properly configured phone.

1. REGISTER Open the web browser in your mobile phone and goto http://wap.mig33.com. Select `Join mig33` and follow the instructions. Make sure that you enter your mobile phone number with the country code (e.g. if you`re in the Australia (61) and your number is 04123654123, enter +614123654123). When the registration is successful, you will be sent an SMS with your login details and activation code. You will need these later. If you don`t receive an SMS, it`s most likely that the phone number was entered wrong. Now that you`ve successfully registered, proceed with Installing the application on your phone.

2. INSTALLATION There are two ways which you install mig33 application: A. From the WAP site On the Wapsite (http://wap.mig33.com), select `Download mig33`. If we are able to pre-detect your phone, you`ll be presented with an option to download the application on your phone along with helpful hints if you have a problem. If we can`t pre-detect your phone, you`ll be shown a list of phones and you should select the one closest to yours. The Download process may take a couple of minutes & you will be prompted to install the application and run mig33 for the first time. B. Transfer from PC to Phone If you want to save on GPRS costs when installing the application, you can try downloading mig33 to your PC and transferring mig33 to your phone. You can do this by Bluetooth or Cable depending on what hardware you have. Please consult your Handset manual. After installation, you`ll be prompted to run mig33 for the first time.

3. RUNNING FOR THE FIRST TIME When you open the application for the first time, mig33 will try and predetect your network settings to find the best way to connect to our servers. Some phones such as Sony and Motorola may need special configuration to let mig33 connect to the mobile internet. You will then be asked to enter your Username and Password and then Log in. You will then be asked to enter the Activation Code. Activating the account will give you access to Chatrooms, VOIP calls, and other services. To setup MSN, Yahoo, and AOL/ICQ, open Menu and select `Other IM`, then open each IM to enter your settings. Within that menu you can connect/disconnect from the IM.

4. CONGRATULATIONS!! If you`ve followed these steps, you`re now a mig33 member. It`s that easy! For tips on how to make the most of our services, visit our FAQ page on our website. NOTE: Some phones may require a second internet setting to connect to mig33. This is referred to as the `Internet GPRS`. Simply contact your network provider for these settings. Our camera feature works best on Nokia and Sony Ericsson. We cannot guarentee that it will work on other mobile phones such as LG, Samsung, Motorola etc and would appreciate your feedback here.
